We are honored to partner with Marble Brewery, Nexsus Brewery and Hollow Spirits Distillery for Black History Month!

We are making history with Welstand Stout, Marble’s special edition milk stout. A portion of the proceeds will go to help us open WELSTAND VILLAGE THIS SUMMER!!!

Marble brewed a special beer for this celebration! The Welstand Stout will be released on 2.3.21 at all taproom locations and a portion of the profits will benefit the foundation.

Are you getting the vaccine? A Community Discussion

Thursday February 11th at 7pm YouTube https://youtu.be/_Q81hrZdu5E or FB https://fb.me/e/20oupfTCu.

New Mexico is rolling out the COVID-19 vaccine to the public and there has been no coordinated effort to educate or engage the Black community around getting vaccinated. There is a history of distrust in the Black community around mass vaccinations and healthcare as a whole. In a recent Healthline article, Titled Why Some Black and Latinx People Are Reluctant to Get the COVID-19 Vaccine it was highlighted that “experts say we need to work directly with community leaders and amplify the voices of people of color to ease fears, build trust, and disseminate proper information about the vaccines.”We are doing just that. Join us on FB or YouTube as we have a REAL conversation about mass vaccinations and the Black community. Thank you to our sponsor NM Department of Health Equity Office for believing in our vision.

About Us

Our Beliefs

We are a non-profit that exists to enhance all aspects of well-being for under-served and under-represented youth in New Mexico.

We believe in a world where every child should have equal access to education, healthcare and all one needs to thrive. Our mission is to invest in our Y.O.U.T.S., in order to empower the next generation.

We do that, by creating programs and providing necessary resources in underprivileged areas. We believe in smart fund allocation, and therefore we employ minimal staff.

How You Can Help

Send Donation

We have several ways you can give using GoFundMe Charity or our PayPal option and you can even Cash App us at $Welstandfoundation.

Your donations will go DIRECTLY to help us get ready to open our first home for children of color in New Mexico. The list of items we need to purchase are:

  • Furniture (6 sets of bunk beds, dressers, etc)
  • Decorations for rooms (Themes are Black Panther, Spiderman, Harry Potter and Star Wars)
  • Clothing (ages 8-12)
  • Toys & Books (ages 8-12)
  • School & Art Supplies

Become a Volunteer

You can get involved today by becoming a Volunteer. Sign up and you will be joining a group of change-makers, a network strong enough to impact positive change in the lives of children.

Volunteer opportunities include the following:

  • Mentoring
  • Tutoring
  • Fostering
  • Adopting
  • Home Improvement
  • Landscaping
  • Recreational Leaders

Give Scholarship

Our wish is to gift the youth with the future we all deserve. Which is a solid financial foundation to pursue their goals and dreams in adulthood.

Your gift will go directly to establish a fund, opened in the name of our children so when the turn 18 they will leave our village with a nest egg to begin the next chapter of their life.

This reward is tied to our programming that include a GPA requirement and good behavior.

Purpose

To provide a place where New Mexico’s under-served, children of color can thrive.

Goals

To increase self-efficacy.

To ensure success after 18.

To partner with systems to disrupt the dehumanization of children of color.
